This commission of Holly the Samoyed (hence the Sammy in the title) came my way just afterthee new year. I worked with Holly’s mom to come up with the right photo from which to work. Holly loved the snow but this beach scene captured her spirit best. Often my portraits of pets, like those of people are not strictly portraits but capture my subjects more candidly.
