ZOOM STUDIO CLASS – Class space is limited! Please check for availability

In my studio class you’ll learn about form, composition, line, value, proportion and scale – the essential elements of creating a good piece of art. This class is designed to help you define your own distinct personal style, color language and identify what subject matter resonates with your own artistic storytelling. I’ll give you challenging assignments and the tools to complete them because I want you to see that you can do it.

Each class meets once a week on Zoom for a couple of hours. Students receive an email in advance with a brief presentation of what the class project is for the week so we’re ready to dig in as soon as class starts. Class is small to ensure you get the best and most personalized level of instruction. 

I’ve developed a community Facebook page filled with resources including explorations of art history and how pastel relates to contemporary art, demonstrations and conversation where you you can ask questions during the week; and if you’re not on Facebook, don’t worry, you’ll get a link to a private page where you can access all the same resources.

The cost is $40.00 and enrollment starts the first week of every month but plan in advance because you’ll need supplies to hit the ground running right away.

ZOOM PRIVATE AND SEMI PRIVATE LESSONS

Disappointed that you can’t commit to an existing class because of your schedule? Want to learn privately or with a friend? Flex classes and workshops are great ways outside of the traditional weekly class and are great options for self conscious beginners, jump starts and brush-ups for wherever you are on your journey.
