To do this painting. I had to find source material, including photos I shot myself, put the elements together (both taken in daylight) and convert it to a night scene. First you have to understand night vision, then you have to compensate so people can see what they otherwise would not have in real life. In the same vein, it’s impossible to see artwork as you would in real life when viewing through the filters of computer and phone screens. People always tell me that they are amazed how different paintings look in real life. Wait ’til you see ’em in a frame! 😉
