23 Aug A few from this summer

Been doing a lot of drawing this summer – I was working on ears but became enamored of this young man’s face.

We’ve had a very long, hot dry summer in New Jersey and it found me longing for a winter Maine day.

              In the Clearing, 9 inches by 12 inches, pastel on paper

It seems forever since I’ve seen the fog – again a symptom of way too much sun and heat this season.
